We are happy to announce that another new version of the CYS software has been released. This version mainly focusses on technical upgrades to improve performance, along with a few minor bugfixes.  

Technical upgrade from .Net Framework to .Net Core

The CYS software is now fully migrated from .Net Framework to .Net Core. Not only does this upgrade itself provide increased performance in general, it also paves the way for further performance improvements within specific parts of the software.

Improvements that are alreayd included within this build are:

• Importing records into Sources
  Improved performance on importing large batches into an import source, resulting in faster runtimes. 
  
  
• Mapping records into Databases:
  Improved performance on mapping records from an import source into a project database while simultaneously executing creation rules for updating or enriching the data. This also results in faster runtimes on this process. 
  
  
• Email sendouts
  Faster process of evaluating and selecting new records for email send outs.
  
  
• Event based rules
  Improved performance on execution of one-time or scheduled event based rules (large scale data mutations).
  
  
• Questionnaire access
  Reduced loading times for respondents when accessing the questionnaires.       

Bugfixes

Database - Import Sources

• Within Databases, on the Import Sources tab, the delete icon was not responsive. This is resolved and import sources can now be deleted from a database again.
  
  

Dashboard - Datagrid

• Within Dashboards, datagrid widgets that contained a high number of text columns and that were reporting on more than a million records, could encounter loading issues. This is now resolved. (#108342, #108462, #108306)  
  
  

General - Overview pages

• Within overview pages (Sources, Databases or Research projects) the graphs on the overview widgets in some cases showed a default red color instead of portal colors after a refresh of the page. This is no longer the case.
