New and improved widget design
All widgets have a new, fresh design. These new designs provide more consistency in colors, texts, and the way that data is presented. All existing widgets are automatically updated to the new versions with the release, presenting you will completely refreshed dashboards!

Important to note here is that the actual information provided and the calculations that are being performed are unchanged.

New color schemes
The setup of the color schemes offer more consistency, with indications of what the color is used for. In addition, there are preset color schemes with signal colors (green, blue, orange and red).

Widget options (top bar menu)

Every widget is equipped with icons in the top right corner. From left to right, their functionality is as follows:

Account based filters
If there are fixed personalized filters applied to the widget, based on your user account, you will see this icon of a person with a filter. When clicking it, you will see which filter values are applied to your widget. This replaces the previous use of information tags that are visible on the widget itself, for a more efficient use of space.

Additional information
The i-icon provides additional information about the widget, if provided by the admin while setting up the widget. A grey area is shown at the bottom of this information, indicating the period grouping and period range that this widget applies. (Does it report data per year, week, month or day? Does it show current period or previous period? Etc.)

Exports
The last icon is the export button. For each widget you can choose to export the data to Excel, an image of PDF format.

Period grouping per widget
A significant change is the way that period grouping is applied. In the smart periods setting, you could select a period such as month of week, which was then applied to all widgets in the dashboard. Comparing different periods meant changing and reloading the data frequently. To resolve this, the period setting is now moved to the widget level, and it is therefore possible to combine different periods within the same tab. When building the dashboard, the admin can decide for each widget separately on which period range it should report, and how many periods should be included in compares.

When viewing the dashboard, this means that the smart period groups at the top of the dashboard are removed, and replaced with the manual period selection calendar. Based on the end date of the data that you choose, each widget will present the period that is assigned in its settings. You can check what this setting is by clicking on the i-icon as explained above.

Open answer pop-up in KPI widgets and priority matrix
A new functionality for KPI widgets (which present the categories green, bleu and red) and the priority matrix is that you can click the widget or data point, and you will be presented with the open answers that respondents have given. This type of storytelling provides a lot of context to the results.

New reporting columns

Combined root causes: When the root cause question is applied within a questionnaire, the answers for the main category and the sub category are registered in two different columns. Our system now automatically adds an additional column, with a combination of these two categories. This means you can now report on the combination of these two categories in for example rankings to determine priorities over all categories at once.

Last question before end: This column registers what the last question is that the respondent filled out before closing the questionnaire. Especially for active records, this gives great insights on where respondents decide to leave the questionnaire, which can assist in optimizing your questionnaire to improve response rates.
