Release notes 04/30/2024

We are happy to inform you about another update of the CYS software that includes a combination of bugfixes and improvements.

Dashboard

Research KPI widgets

The Research KPI widgets in the dashboard have been improved in several ways:

  • We have added an additional calculation that is supported by the KPI type widgets: the Category Percentage. This ensures that calculations such as Topbox scores can now also be reported within this widget type. The necessary categories Red/Blue/Green, that show the division of your negative, neutral or positive answer values, can be manually defined for this calculation to provide full use of the widget’s features.
  • Additionally, it was not yet possible to define the Root Cause 1 and Root Cause 2 columns in the widget settings, to ensure that they are highlighted within the Open Answer pop-up. This option has now been added.
  • Lastly, assigning meta tags (background variables) to provide context to your open answers were limited to 5 tags. We have removed this limit, and increased the size of the settings dropdowns, to make them more user friendly to setup and select the correct column.

Priority matrix

  • Within the Priority matrix, the division of the categories Red/Blue/Green, which indicate positive, neutral of negative answer values, are automatically reported at the top. By default, these categories were indicated as Promotors, Passives and Detractors, even though the Priority Matrix can support many other KPIs besides NPS. We have now made these labels customizable. They can be edited within the widget settings, on the Layout tab. This provides the option to manually change the labels of these categories to suit your reporting requirements. To reduce impact on existing setups, these changes will only take effect once you edit these widget settings.

Tables

  • Horizontal and vertical tables have the option to include an N value. In the specific setup where you apply both a compare and a grouping simultaneously, the total N was not yet included. This option is now added, and if the option to Include N is already set to active in your widget settings (which it is by default) the N will now automatically be added to your table.

Datagrid

  • The Datagrid supports the option to show the data based on either codes or labels, and you can switch between the two views. However, the export to Excel by default exported the values as labels. This is now improved: when you use the Export button in label view, your export file will show labels. If you use the Export button in code view, your export file will show codes (where applicable).

Widget settings - (sub)titles

  • Upon customer request we have extended the number of characters allowed within the widget titles and subtitles. Titles can now hold up to 60 characters instead of the previous 35, and subtitles can now hold up to 100 characters instead of the previous 45.

General

Data views

  • When opening up the Data view in Sources or Databases, or other areas of the system where tables with checkboxes are applied, it sometimes occurred that the checkboxes did not load properly. Or that scheduler graphs showed a distorted graph that blocked the edit button. A refresh was needed in that case to correct the view. We have located the root cause of this issue and provided a fix, to ensure that these areas now correctly load upon first entry.
